Triple Decker Eggo Extravaganza

Direction: Some sort of treat (candy, cookies, dessert, etc.)

Concept: “Good, right? You know, the great thing about it? It’s only 8,000 calories.”

My Stranger Things treat selection is a tribute to the monstrous dessert shared by Eleven and Hopper — the Triple Eggo Extravaganza.

Admittedly, it wouldn’t fit in a lunch box without some ingenuity, but I’m sure we can can dream up some solutions.

All materials in this scene are procedurally generated, including the displacement textures. The only image texture used is the butterfly decal on the cup in the background.

Candy colors: Candy colors share a single material with randomized colors from a pre-defined palette.

Mike & Ike depth: Depth in the Mike & Ike candies was created with a 3D noise texture inside the mesh.

Eggos: I really wanted to add some color variation to the Eggos, but even after toasting they’re disconcertingly spongelike.

Cream: Cream needed to be wet-looking and rough, with a subtle star shape from the nozzle, visible on the top ring.
