Pokémon / Harry Potter Crossover Fan Art

My oldest daughter asked for a Pokémon/Harry Potter crossover birthday party, which put the Harry Potter Pikachu idea in my mind.

My initial idea was to crank out an untextured model, ask a buddy to print on his 3D printer, and then paint it, but the more I got to playing with the model in Blender, I couldn't help but start to build a scene around it. So what started as a quick sculpture project quickly evolved into an epic Patronus scene.

Now my daughter and I both have sweet 3D printed Pikachu models *and* art prints to hang on the wall!

Scene was modeled in Blender. Textured in Substance 3D Painter. Ground textures and trees from Quixel Megascans, debris and plants from Graswald addon. Rendered in Blender Cycles. Color correction in Lightroom and some fog added in Photoshop in post processing.
